Must Have Been A Hangover From Nothing Last Week

Game Week 09 - Wednesday, 02nd November, 2016
Chappell got well angry, Crowther got angry but not as much as Chappell, Hardy lost to someone who we all thought had died in the corner earlier in the night and Josh was in absolute Beat mode. Standard night of pool really.
Heads were down if we are being honest with ourselves, and I'm sure he wont mind me saying that we had a massive silver lining in an unlikely hero in Josh who pulled it out of the bag and gave us an at least respectable loss.
I was starting to get a bit of a bad back and was a bit ill and knackered so lost all concentration and let myself and the team down when I should have tried to rally us together a bit more. Chappell was visibly turning green out of anger, Crowther said just before his game that he has lost 8 times in a row here just to give himself that much needed confidence boost, meanwhile hard was having weird Viet-Nam-esque flashbacks about a one-legged lass still managing to kick his arse, luckily a 104-year old bloke with virtually no mobility managed to kick his arse too!
We weren't at our strongest, both in mentality and in numbers with Patty missing and I think it really cost us. Towards the end of the night at least, spirits lifted and we agreed that we won't all quit just yet.
